Lehkonen signed a 3 year deal 
I think he will get every opportunity to prove himself. I think they will try to even convince him to play in St.John's...probably won't work, and it's not that bad anyway. The SHL is a great league to develop, if you can get icetime, and in Lehkonen's case it won't be an issue. |

Cool.
I hope that Markov can have another full season of production. I know he is not the player he was even a few years ago; but you have to respect the guys work ethic and hockey IQ. Who knows... maybe without having to babysit PK his game will return to that of old. |

Anyone buying the Yak 'roomer' that Ek was spewing the other day?
Have to think Emelin being the central piece would not be enough. |

I know...
If it only took Emelin and a pick/low prospect (Fucale?) then I would say to go for it. However, I would have to imagine that it takes more than that to get Edmonton to give up on Yak. |
